GENERAL INFO

The event is a 4-day and 4-night getaway curated by Take That on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Over the course of the 4 days, events will take place across the island. Events will range from live concerts to nightclub / DJ based events. You’ll have the chance to see Take That and other huge artists perform full sets exclusively in an intimate environment but with full scale production.

The event takes place from Thursday 17th October to Sunday 20th October, across multiple venues. Thursday’s event will start at 6pm. Sundays headline show will finish at 11pm and there will be an after party for all ticket holders until 4am.

Events are held at several venues on Malta, including Cafe Del Mar Beach Club, UNO (an open air venue) and a brand new purpose built Outdoor Concert Venue. Events will occur throughout the afternoon and night.

Absolutely, you'll have plenty of time to explore Malta during your stay. The Greatest Weekend has been designed so that you have time to explore the island if you choose. You can also come and go from the events each day as you please.

Some Malta highlights include: 

- Walking the streets of Valetta (Malta's capital), 

- Wandering around the historic Mdina Old City 

- St Johns Co-Cathedral

-  Touring the filming locations for Gladiator or Game of Thrones

- Cruising around the Grand Harbour

So far the following artists have been announced to perform alongside Take Thats two performances:

Sugababes, Sam Ryder, Ella Henderson, Daniel Bedingfield, Heather Small, Gok Wan & Guilty Pleasures 

The event is for individuals 18 years and older.

A limited number of add-ons such as boat parties, VIP tables and more will go on sale later. We will keep you updated!

Day tickets will not be available for purchase. All tickets will give you access to all events across the 4 days.

Sign up presale is on Tuesday 9th April at 10am. General onsale is on Friday 12th April at 10am

Once tickets go on sale the 'sign up' buttons on the website will change to 'book now'

From here, follow these steps to make your booking:

Step 1: Click on Book Now

Step 2: Select your Experience - 'Ticket Only' or 'Ticket and Hotel Packages' (only select ticket and hotel packages if you plan to book a hotel through us with your ticket!)

Step 3: Choose how many people you are booking for

Step 4: If choosing a 'Ticket and Hotel Package' select which hotel you want to stay in and choose your room (if you select a two person package you will need to add 1x two person room. If you select a four person package you'll need to add 2x two person rooms)

Step 5: Follow the steps to checkout and confirm your booking!

PAYMENT PLANS

You can pay in full or choose a payment plan. Secure your spot with a £50 per person deposit for ticket only options and £100 per person deposit for hotel package options. You will then be able to pay off your balance in instalments.

If we are unable to take payment from your card on an instalment date we will attempt to charge your card again two more times.

ACCOMMODATION AND FLIGHTS

No you do not need to buy a ticket and accommodation package through us. You can purchase your ticket on its own and book your accommodation separately. 

Malta is a small island and nothing is too far from each other. Bolt and Uber both operate in Malta, are affordable and easy to book. For closest proximity to events we would suggest staying in the St Pauls Bay, Mellieha, St Julians or Sliema.

Direct flights to Luqa, Malta International Airport are available from major airports. Connecting flights are also an option. Book early for the best prices. You can view best flight options through Kayak or Skyscanner!

We have selected a range of hotels on the island for you to choose from and secured competitive rates. You can view the hotels that are available on the Tickets & Hotel Packages page. 

All hotel rooms are based on 2 sharing and will include your event ticket for the 4 days. At checkout you'll be able to select whether you want a twin or double room.

All hotels are in St Pauls Bay, Mellieha, St Julians or Sliema.


LOCAL INFORMATION

Bolt and Uber services are recommended and readily available. Download the apps from Apple Store or Google Play. Local taxi services are also available. eCabs Malta is one of the most reliable services on the island. 

The Euro is the official currency. Exchange at banks, Western Union, post offices, or airports. Credit/debit cards are widely accepted, so carrying a lot of cash isn't necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY TICKETS

Disabled facilities are available – Please buy your event ticket first, and then email access@ticketmaster.co.uk to request your personal assistant ticket if you need one.

TABLES AND HOSPITALITY PACKAGES

Information on reserving table packages in VIP areas will be sent closer to the start of The Greatest Weekend
